Standalone Setup

This Freevo package contains a setup as a desktop session (windowmanager).

So you can choose freevo as a session in your login manager (kdm/gdm).

This way you can use Freevo as standalone app and boot directly into it.

For this to work you have to add the user that should run Freevo to the 

​

DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN

​

variable in 

​

/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager. Then login one as this user with the session

type 'freevo' and from then on you will get freevo each time you boot.

Record-Server

-------------

You might want to start the recordserver to be able to record from TV even

if you dont run freeve at that time. This package provides an init script

for the recordserver.
